Do you offer 24-hour emergency service?
Yes. Plumbing Pals offers 24-hour emergency service. Regular hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, after-hours service runs until midnight, and holidays are emergency-only.
Which areas do you serve?
Plumbing Pals serves Philadelphia, the Main Line, and Bucks County from offices in Philadelphia, Ardmore, and Bensalem. If you're not sure whether we cover your town, call and we'll tell you honestly.
Do you charge extra for evenings or weekends?
Every visit starts with an $85 dispatch fee, waived when you approve the work and we complete it the same day. Emergency and after-hours work is priced up front, and you approve the price before any work begins.
Plumbing
What is hydro jetting and do I need it?
Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to clear stubborn clogs and buildup from drain and sewer lines. It's often the right call when a snake alone keeps failing to clear a recurring clog.
Should I repair or replace my water heater?
It depends on the unit's age, the cost of the repair, and how often it's been failing. We give you both numbers during the visit so you can decide with real information.
How do I know if I have a sewer line problem?
Frequent backups, gurgling drains, slow drainage in multiple fixtures at once, or sewage odors in the yard are common signs. A camera inspection gives us a definite answer.
Do you repair and replace sewer lines?
Yes. Plumbing Pals runs two underground crews that repaired or replaced more than 250 sewer lines in 2024, using camera inspection, hydro jetting, excavation, pipe bursting, and LightRay UV pipe lining.
Heating & Cooling
Do you work on furnaces and boilers?
Yes. Plumbing Pals repairs and installs both furnaces and boilers, along with mini-split systems and central air conditioning.
Should I repair or replace my HVAC system?
It depends on the system's age, the cost of the repair, and its overall efficiency. We walk through the trade-offs with you before recommending either option.
How often should I have my system serviced?
Most manufacturers recommend annual maintenance for heating and cooling systems, ideally once each before their peak season.

Are estimates free?
Free estimates and free second opinions are available on qualifying larger projects, such as sewer line, curb trap, or water service replacement. Repair and diagnostic visits carry the $85 dispatch fee, waived with same-day approved work.
Do you offer financing?
